FLAT WATER PADDLE UP

Day 1: Flat water paddle up

Day 1, Saturday 19 April – I tried on a 6’9 x 20.75″ Amos Phantom with an Armstrong APF1675 front foil at Lake Alex. I only managed to rise a little on the mast and I was turning to the left on most attempts. I definitely need more stamina. Ideally 15 good strokes (I was only laying down 5 or 6) and leg pumping is required to release the board. After a 90 minute session I realised that my knee accident from a week prior was more serious than I anticipated and is going to take some time to heal.

I will provide updates on the paddle up journey when I get back into it.

Any footage and text from other flat water paddlers greatly appreciated.
